Cloth Lullaby by Amy NoveskyThis book shares the story of French artist Louise Bourgeois. Her mother was a tapestry weaver and she spent her childhood dying wool and being fascinated by her mother's skill, which she likened to that of a spider (master weavers!). The beautiful relationship between mother and child shapes the artist and is demonstrated in her art in throughout her career.
