Sir Cumference and the Isle of Immeter

by Cindy Neusschwander

If you are a fan of a good pun (or even a not so good, slightly cringe worthy one) then you will enjoy this story, which is part of a larger series of maths books. With characters like the title character, Per Immeter and a few others, you'll be grinning as you read along.
This is a pretty lengthy text which introduces some more complex math, so is definitely not aimed at kindergarten ages. The characters go on a quest to an island and solve riddles as they go. Working through the riddles, they help readers learn about area and perimeter of rectangles as well as radius and circumference of circles. The illustrator really helps highlight the concepts visually which would likely help some students see things in a new way.
